Shawn opened the double doors to the building, they were partially crushed so he put a little bit of force behind his push. He walked inside the building there was very dim lighting even with the top part of the building missing, and the lobby of the once Hotel was littered with bits of of rubble and shredded newspaper. Shawn reached down and picked up a shredding from an old newspaper, he read the title "WWIII Rages on for Fifth Year." He read the paragraph below it: World war three continues to burn across the world, the casualties are in the millions only a few weeks into the fifth year of the war. Rumors of possible nuclear weapon attacks spread throughout the world, situations in the mid....." the newspaper doesn't continue any any farther. Shawn threw the piece of paper back to the floor and proceeded cautiously up a set of stairs across the room, the stairs led up and to a hallway with a small office on the west side of the hallway. Shawn decided to set a trap at both ends of the hallways in case anyone tried to bother him during the night, he made two tripe wire bombs out of his hand grenades and some fishing string. Shawn entered the office and locked the door behind him and pushed the heavy metal desk up against the door, he also laid the two sets of file cabinets horizontal against the desk. "There that will have to do for the night." Shawn thought to himself. Shawn lay his back against the file cabinets and drew his machete laying it on the floor next to him, with that he closed his eyes and drifted off to a much needed slumber.
